Why Past Papers Beat More Notes
A past paper is the only revision material that tells you what the examiner actually asks, in the proportion they ask it. Notes tell you what a chapter contains; a paper tells you which third of that chapter has carried marks for the last five years. Once the syllabus has been through once, a paper solved in one sitting is worth more than an evening of rereading.
Solve them under the real time limit from the start. Most marks lost in a board or entrance paper are lost to pace and to question order, not to a gap in knowledge, and neither of those shows up when you solve at your own speed with the book nearby.
