A realistic, NCERT-first plan to score 95%+ in CBSE Class 10 & 12 boards: how to use NCERT, answer-writing, revision cycles and free chapter-wise practice for Indian students.
Scoring 95%+ in CBSE boards is not about studying 14 hours a day — it's about studying the right things the right way. Here is the plan that consistently works for Indian students.
1. NCERT is the syllabus — finish it first. The CBSE paper is set from NCERT. Read every line, solve every in-text and back exercise, and never skip the examples. Most students lose marks on questions straight out of NCERT they assumed were "too basic".
2. Practice writing, not just reading. Boards reward presentation. After each chapter, solve previous-year and sample questions in exam conditions — timed, by hand. Underline keywords, draw diagrams, and write step-wise for full marks.
3. Revise in cycles, not once. Use spaced revision: revise a chapter the same day, again after 3 days, then weekly. This is what makes it stick under exam pressure.
4. Fix weak chapters early. Track which chapters you get wrong and attack them first — don't keep re-revising what you already know.
