How to Prepare for SSC CHSL
- Clear Tier 1 comfortably but don't over-invest in it — its marks don't count. Put the majority of your effort into Tier 2, which decides the final merit.
- English carries the most Tier-2 questions (45), so build vocabulary, grammar and reading speed daily — it is the single biggest scoring lever.
- Practise Quant and Reasoning as timed sets every day; speed with accuracy on percentages, averages, time-and-work, seating arrangements and syllogisms wins this exam.
