Our environment is in crisis. Climate change, pollution, and deforestation threaten the very survival of our planet. We have lost countless species, and our air and water are becoming toxic. But here is the good news: we have the power to change this.
First, we must reduce our consumption. Every product we buy has an environmental cost. Before purchasing, ask yourself: do I really need this? By reducing waste, we reduce the resources extracted from the Earth.
Second, support renewable energy. Our school can install solar panels, and our homes can use LED lights and fans. These small changes multiply when everyone does them.
Third, plant trees. A single tree absorbs tons of carbon dioxide and provides oxygen for many. Imagine if every student in this school planted one tree. Within ten years, we would have created a small forest!
Friends, our future depends on our actions today. We cannot wait for someone else to save the environment. It is our responsibility. Let us commit today to live sustainably and protect our planet for future generations.
