Robotics Vision Tracker in Robotics
A tracker robot uses a camera to detect and follow a colored object (ball, person, target). Requires: real-time image processing, motor control feedback, stable PID tuning.
Challenges: lighting changes, object loss (reacquire), scale changes (object moving closer/farther), multiple candidates (pick the right one).
Solution: OpenCV + servo-controlled camera + differential motor control. PID loop maintains object centered in frame.
