Dsa Recursion in Dsa
Recursion is when a function calls itself on a smaller version of the problem. Every recursive solution needs a base case (when to stop) and a recursive case (how to shrink the problem). Without a base case you get infinite recursion and a stack overflow.
Backtracking is recursion that explores choices, and undoes a choice ("backtracks") when it leads nowhere. It solves permutations, combinations, subsets, mazes, Sudoku and the N-Queens problem — try a choice, recurse, then remove it and try the next.
