Cloud provider certifications: AWS (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS). Azure (SOC 2, HIPAA). GCP (SOC 2, ISO 27001). Doesn't mean you're compliant—you must implement controls.
For India: DPDP Act, RBI guidelines (banking), MeitY (government). AWS Mumbai, Azure Pune, GCP Delhi are compliance-friendly. Compliance = responsibility shared between provider & customer.
