Cloud Service Models in Cloud Computing

IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service): You get bare metal—virtual servers, storage, networking. You manage OS, middleware, applications. Examples: AWS EC2, Azure VMs, Google Compute Engine. You have most control.

PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service): Provider manages infrastructure & OS. You deploy applications on top. Examples: AWS Lambda, Azure App Service, Google Cloud Run. Faster deployment, less operational work.

SaaS (Software-as-a-Service): Everything managed by provider. You just use the application via browser. Examples: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Slack. Zero infrastructure concerns.
