Cloud Deployment Models in Cloud Computing

Public Cloud: Infrastructure shared among multiple organizations. AWS, Azure, GCP are public clouds. Cost-effective, scalable, secure (SOC 2 certified), ideal for startups and non-sensitive workloads.

Private Cloud: Infrastructure dedicated to one organization (on-premise or hosted). Full control, compliance-friendly, expensive, requires IT team. Used by banks, government, healthcare for sensitive data.

Hybrid Cloud: Mix of public + private. Sensitive data in private cloud, non-sensitive in public cloud. Popular in India—RBI, government use hybrid for compliance with DPDP Act and data residency requirements.
